Are you caring for a loved one or friend?
Breathing Technique - Gentle Touch - Relaxation Methods - Coping (for the dying person and for you) - Dealing with expectations and emotions.
This group meeting is for you whether your family member or friend is being cared for at home, in hospital, in a care home or in a hospice.
Caring for someone at the end of life is very special but can be lonely and a little frightening. I will be explaining some practical ways to help with this. We will be talking about caring for our loved ones at the end of life, whether elderly or because of terminal diagnosis. We will talk about what to expect and I will be show you some very simple practical techniques for you and your loved one to use. These include relaxation, breathing, touch, memory work, listening etc. All of these techniques work perfectly alongside medication and will help you create a very calm and special ending.
